Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway

Situated just outside Skipton in Yorkshire the Embsayand Bolton Abbey Steam Railway runs 4 miles between the award winning station at Bolton Abbey and Embsay station built in 1888.

Steam trains operate every Sunday throughout the year plus Tuesdays and Saturdays from April to the end of October and daily in the summer season.

The railway has many special events throughout the year such as Boxing Day and New Years Day Specials.

In addition trains run on many Summer Saturday evenings when events such as Strawberry Specials operate using Victorian carriages and also Pie and Pea or Fish and Chip Specials in August.
