The National Emergency Services Museum is housed in the former Police, Fire and Ambulance Station just outside the City Centre in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Take the time for all the family to discover this historic building including its original Victorian police cells and explore how life and times have changed while getting hands-on with history as the museums uses lights, sounds, smoke and smells to bring history to life!

The museum houses a vast collection of exhibits ranging from over 50 emergency services vehicles on display to thousands of uniforms and helmets telling the story of our services that date back to the day fire was first discovered.

The museum is growing and expanding year after year with exciting new exhibitions. February 2017 will see the opening of a interactive all new exhibition “Sheffield Blitz The Exhibition” telling the story of them few nights that destroyed Sheffield.
