Set in a beautiful 19thcentury garden village, Port Sunlight Museum opens up the story of village life.

Port Sunlight village, built in 1888 by William Hesketh Lever, grew into a bustling community filled with Levers soap factory workers who welcomed their unique surroundings.

Residents were fondly known as ‘Sunlighters’, who enjoyed healthier lifestyles, social events and a feeling of community bonding.

On arrival to Port Sunlight, head to Port Sunlight Museum and learn more about village life, meet the characters who lived and worked in the village, watch them come to life on screen in the ‘Sunlight Spirit’ film show.
